“Passport to Success” encourages students to participate in activities that help them academically now and in the future. For instance, students who seek teachers’ and tutors’ academic assistance outside of class time and show perseverance and progress are rewarded with gift cards to local lunch venues. Likewise, students who get themselves to college fairs outside of class time are entered in drawings.

This incentive is open to students once per quarter.

On August 31, 2017, Merced College hosted, "College Night," with over 50 colleges and universities in attendance to provide students with information about their schools. MCHS students who brought a selfie from the event to the counseling office to show they attended were included in a raffle sponsored by ABC. Congrats to these students who each won a $10 gift certificate to Jantz Bakery!
