Motivated by student feedback requesting presentations from individuals employed in a variety of fields, ABC began its Career Lunch series at the start of the 2015 school year.
Career lunches happen the second Thursday of most every month.
Typically, speakers discus
s the paths they took to their professions, let students know what classes might be especially helpful for them, let them know what to expect during school and once working in the field, and answer students’ questions.
In addition to bringing in speakers, thanks to the generosity of an Anonymous Donor, ABC also provides a nutritious lunch from a local restaurant to the first 30 students who sign up ahead of time.
